Aliya Hussain
Chief Executive Officer

Aliya Hussain serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of GreenZone. She has been the driving force behind the company’s mission and vision and personally leads the strategic direction of the organization by recruiting and mentoring the senior management team.

With her exceptional understanding of general business and finance, Aliya has had tremendous success in building teams and ensuring foundational strength. Prior to starting GreenZone, Aliya had a long history in banking. In her position at M&T Bank as an Assistance Branch Manager, Aliya consulted on various branch operations procedures and assisted with overall management. While in her role, she elevated operational efficiency and bank policy compliance. In the past, Aliya has also had experience working as a teacher for Loudoun County.

Aliya holds a Degree in Economics and Statistics from Kinnard College.

Qasim Hussain
Chief Operating Officer


Qasim Hussain serves as the Chief Operating Officer for GreenZone. In this position Qasim leads operations initiatives and assists with overall strategy and business development as a member of the senior management team.
Qasim brings a wide range of subject matter expertise in the areas of big data analytics, statistical reporting, investigative analytics, data science, business intelligence, and performance management. Prior to GreenZone, Qasim was a project manager for Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) supporting Organizational Controls and Strategic Communications and Office of the Chief Information Officer. He also has extensive private sector experience working in finance for Marriott International, BearingPoint Inc., Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Capital Markets, and Fannie Mae.
Qasim holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts from The George Washington University School of Business in Finance & International Business.

Wajid Hussain
Chief Financial Officer


Wajid Hussain currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer. With GreenZone Wajid is responsible for supervising and executing various financial, human capital and business development functions for the company. He acts as a key member of the senior management team and provides input on strategic and tactical matters related to business growth, budget management, pricing, human resources, and the securing of new funding.
Wajid brings to GreenZone extensive experience in Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and financial operations. Past work experience includes positions with the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), and The Washington Post. Most recently, with OPM, Wajid acted as the CPIC and Earned Value Management (EVM) lead.
Wajid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from George Mason University.

James Keough
Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer


James Keough serves as the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for GreenZone. He leads all efforts relating to strategy, innovation, and company growth. James is a lead member of the senior management team and collaborates with colleagues to develop optimal growth, business development, and innovation strategies for GreenZone.
Prior to GreenZone, James has worked for more than 17 major organizations (ranging from 600 to more than 15,000 employees. He brings a proven track record of success and decades of strategy and innovation consulting experience in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, James was the Director of Operations for Inovalon, a leading technology company in the healthcare field. He previously has worked in a consulting role for Grant Thorton, Booz Allen Hamilton, The African Development Bank, The World Bank, The International Food Policy Research Institute, and the International Institute for Advanced Studies.
James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and a Masters degree in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Public Policy and Management at Brandels University.
